Well I managed to drill three holes though one of the walls. Nice suprise it was only two feet thick and no steel lining :D ....Unless I'm only half way through! Took me about 3/4 of an hour, had to stop because the drill got hot....Well ok so did I! :o John

I think the only thing in there is some slimey old gold bars, too heavy for me to lift, and so dirty I'll probably have to pay a fortune to have them taken away...don't want to put my back out! John

Sorry I still don't know if there is anything in it. the vault is too big to shine a light in through one of the holes and see anything through another. I'm going to need a much bigger hole to see anything..My worst fear is that they emptied it and then refilled it with black bags full of rubbish...It's been closed for quite a few years! and at the moment I've put my back out! John

Just wondered cos I might have a *cough key.....

A cough key, well I never did! there arent many of them about now. However It needs two keys to open, and looking at the rust at the bottom of the door I don't think a key will open it anymore..Mind you I have got another chubb safe in the banking hall, that I wouldn't mind opening with a cough key. :D John
I can al;ways bring the the trusty hammer and the boots of doom if you need some heavy duty breaking and entering.. the boots are made from a diamond titanioum hybrid mineral I am developing.... they usually do the trick

Why not put a Harley davidson badge on the safe ?? Just leave it for a few minuets and the door will probably fall off.....:)

and the boots of doom
Are they still around??
John, I have a few master keys from the 40's 50's, ones that didnt exist (whistles mysteriously)... I used to collect unusual keys, I'll have a poke around in my little black box.
