Me and Mitch took part in a documentary for the discovery channel about Druids. We had to dress up in the most ridiculous costumes to please the US audience!!! :D It was freezing cold and the takes at the Rollright stones were endless mainly because we could not stop laughing.
We were asked how long we had been druids and although we were thinking, "the last five minutes" we had to think of a suitable answer.
Only about four of them were druids, the rest of us were a motley collection of Northern tradition and witches!
Good day tho', great laugh and a video to take home to amuse our friends and family.

So you all want to "Sell Yourselves" as extra's.....Sad, Very Sad.

I climbed on a bike and became a "Biker" to get away from these type of people....They want to ridicule the lifestyle, or even worse dismiss it as a leftover from the sixties (Why else bikers over 50 ? )
I got offered a large wad of cash once to allow my chop to be used on "Taggert" and told them to fekoff.

I personally would'nt do it on principal......

Oh dear. Im a total of 26 years out for this. Shame cos I think it would be a laugh. Why over 50 though? Surely people must know that not all bikers are in this age group. Even the bikers in our club range from 16 to over 50 and we're all mates.

but im too young

Although these kinds of things make tv programs realistic, I realy wouldnt want to tempt fate, cookies funeral was the only one I could face going to this year. :( maybe if i hadnt lost a good friend a few months ago id consider doing it.

I was thinking the same - I've known bikers 15 - 73 years old (the 73 yo was on a K75 btw)

Tend to agree here...

ages ago was very good friends with Les Nash from Coventry - His bike was longest in the world - I went with him after spending the nite before sorting wireing out and some other probs - and kept it running for the show.

also ther was worlds smallest bike -

It was great day out and altho we have small run in with the producers ( not allowed any more than a few pints of petrol and had to be careful about oil n water....

I can see their logic in going with this storyline, but somehow I feel that they will never be able to capture the true emotions that happen at a funeral like this, and even if they did I don't think that the general tv watching public would understand.

Too many of these going on for real for me to want to get involved in play acting.
