dougie nice pic.. I drowned my pet one by mistake... left a bath I was going to have, forgo... Harry got in and well. glug. He was big. Saved his mates though. Love the big blondi ones... it's weird I am scared of rational things.. that I know I am safe from, but fffing great spiders and insects, snakes etc.. no worries... still want to do borneo.:D

Spiders are just the work of the devil, if someone next door to me kept them i would move for sure.
Our new cat is a star, she kills them. Already this week we found three big ones flattened on the bedroom floor, murdered by one big hefty paw - looks like she jumped up and down on 'em too :D As long as she is with us I will be safe :)

Very bad luck apparently to kill house spiders... from a practical point of view I'd rather have these organic fly-traps in the house than those nasty flys... and don''t tell me you didn't blub at the end of Charlotte's Web....:D

No Charlotte Church although I have a soft spot for that woman because she refuses to starve herself to death like the other stupid models, actresses and singers - in my mind this fanaticism to be thin is enslaving women just as much as a full length burka. I've got no bloody time for it
It does have a spider in it, a wise old spider who befriends a little piglet - very cute, you will definitely blub :)

I'd show you a photo of the giant that came into my computer room but after a titanic battle it was defeated by one of my slippers. Thing is do they take weeks, months, or years to grow to that size this one was at least 12" bigger than that photo. There are 36 trillion spiders in Britain and it is our duty to kill them all, and did you know they are all members of a terrorist organisation. Now a magnifying glass, a sunny day and a big spider sitting in the middle of it's web, is better than a gas lighter in your lounge. Have you heard the urban legend about the lady who bought a vacuum cleaner from a door to door salesman. Well that same night her husband came home and cleaned a spiders nest from the corner of the lounge with it, then he thought, hold on they might all walk down the tube and back into the room, so he got a gas blowlamp and without lighting it he squirted gas into the switched off cleaner to kill the spiders, next morning his wife got up to clean the house with her new cleaner and when she switched it on the gas exploded. When the salesman came back he looked at the cleaner in astonishment, and gave her the money back, He said he had been selling them for years and had never seen anything like that before. The husband never said a word. :D John

Hahaha, that's the kind of thing I'd do. I'll lend you my spider squishing cat if you like, she is brilliant. No spider in the house can escape the mighty paw.
