Seriously though my Valkyrie has a 17" front with a 150/70R17 the steering is quite heavy.. so ergo wider tyre heavier steering.
Having said that you can run a rear tyre on the front, I always did in my solo days Pirrelli phantoms front and rear. on a 16" front you could run a 190-200, but don't forget you need to be able to fit it between the forks! So wider yolks/front mudguard etc. Interestingly the laws on front mudguards are 'very' vague, all you need is something that goes across the front tyre, a fork brace counts!
Also don't forget cost Wide tyres are expensive, Mine only last about 2-3000 miles, and I've got NO fast motorways or roads over here to wear it out.... mind you I do most of my riding on the North Island (Mainland) going to and from rallies.

do you want a m/c tyre or a car one considering the side forces imposed on a trikes front end.
if a car tyre then you are going to be limited to size anyway. 2cv comes to mind.
a wide tyre will give you a larger footprint, but there is also the chance that it could squirm (like td at a kylie concert)on the rim
