To say that the Kwak hadn't been run for over ten years, it kept up with me all the way back to my house.
Granted it might have had something to do with the fact that I was pulling it on a trailer. :D
Thanks again and a pleasure to meet you at last.
Another stunning special offer from the E & T emporium TD ?

Yep, I fear so. I paid the down payment today and then I have to pay the same amount on a weekly basis, and then apparently when the bike is MOT'ed I have to give it back.

Terms: Strictly Cash... For Life!
All seriousness, my pleasure mate! I hope you enjoy it! It's a shame that I haven't really had the time to do anything with it. It's not in bad nick for having stood around for best part of 12 years, eh?
A bit of TLC and it should be back to it's former glory. I forgot to mention that, when I had it running briefly, I drained the oil, put in some Slick 50 and refilled with fresh oil, and re-run it for a bit. So, hopefully, there might not be too much problems in running it up. The clutch has probably stuck on though. I'd spin the engine over for a bit without any sark pluge (sark pluge? what are they?) SPARK PLUGS! in. It'll smoke a bit, I bet when it fires up!
Have fun and let us have a few pics when it's up running, yeah?

Gonna try and get it running today and then have a think about whether to strip it right down and restore/rebuild it or run it as it is over the winter.

If it has an oil bath clutch, strip it down and dump the plates. Slick 50 and clutch plates do not mix...... Friction plates and friction reducing agents are not compatible. Unless it is a dry clutch or it is in a different oil system to the engine, I would change them. I did put slick 50 in the Duke as the clutch runs dry. I had many an engine that only continued to run because of that wonderful product.
