It was just that I already had Jimmy Krankie and needed something bigger to fill my Knick-Knack shelf. You know like, Julian Clarey, very colourful and quite tall. Would make a good talking point, or what about Richard Whitely. Flash enough dresser to be gay, but attractive to the ladies. He would fill quite a space on the shelf and both are knobs.

I know how you feel. Mine used to say "When are you gonna cut that bloody beard?", every time I was walking out the house and kissed her goodbye, and I really used to annoy her when I kept threatening to dye it purple like Billy Connolly. "Over my dead body" she used to chuckle as she locked the door.

A few weeks ago at her funeral I swear I could hear her chuckling and the purple has only just washed out. :D

I owe it all to me Mum!

Aged 75 she said to me "I'm beginning to have to accept that there's not going to be time in my life for all the things I want to do! " - so when the kids grew up and left home I thought, better start doing those things now then! So I went out and bought a bike............!

Pity she wasn't around any more to see me biking, cos way back in the 1920s she got in trouble with her mum for ruining her new coat when she had to jump off the back of me dad's Harley just before it went down.... :eek:
