Anyone near Hereford who knows anything about bike-trike electrics.
My mate Hobbit has got problems with his Kwaka trike, he is not in the best of health at the moment, and the trike is very important to him.
This is what he has to say

"OK The story so far, I have fitted another engine and then had trouble with the spark, I was told the Igniter had gone so purchased another, still no spark , then i was told the rectifier /Regulator was buggered so i got another one of those, I have a very weak spark , and although the trike fired up once, and was ridden around the block, it will not start again and whatever else i have tried doe's not seem to want to make any effort at all,, My electrical Knowledge is not the greatest , so if anyone can shed some light on this for me i would be very grateful".

I hope someone on here can help him out :)

Did it run okay with the other engine?
Was the engine just fitted to replace another motor the of same kind, ie has he got the same ignition parts on, like coil and black box (thats the igniter he's replaced i take it)?
And was the new motor a go-er recently, like, it aint been found in a pond or summat?
Not taking the piss K, its all relevant info.

I hope your mate didn't pay over the odds for those bits - me and Mrs R bought bits from http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/ They charge not much more than the breakers for brand new better versions than OE.
