was just wondering, my latest bike had some slab yokes on it, but not wide enough, was going to consign them to the bin in the corner were all things that might come in handy one day go!!1, and noticed they stamped with kooter browns in the underside of the bottom yoke? just wondered what sort of age they might be

I started getting into biking in 1989, they were around then - there's adverts from back then in BSH around that time...

you git, just spat coffee over me keyboard, must be the most stupid joke I heard for a bit, bit still nearly made me choke LOL

oh well, looks like e-bay might have some yokes on it later, good old ebay, add RARE and reckon might get a few quid for them :)

89 is about when I first got into bikes, built my first *cough* custom in 89/90, but was only 14 then so the BSA bantam that it was based on could be excused :)

That's a good 'ole name from the earlier days.

I had a set of them for 39mm fork tubes at 10" wide on a Harley.

Sold 'em recently for £250.
Could get more for them, but so many people are getting them made for less nowadays.

The set of Arlen Ness ones which are the same size but polish up better would cost around £600 to replace. I had both amongst several boxes of bits that I bought. Guess which ones are on my HD.

£250!!!! right oh thats them going up for sale real soon then :)

with a polish they would be great, but sadly not quite thick enough or wide enough for the current project, looks a little thin in the front end with the width of the engine and the wide fatbobs tanks etc
