There are some sh:ts about, He / She probably wasn't insured, and if he was he will deny it. Hope you've got a witness..If you get him, and he has got insurance. Get a good solicitor to screw him for every penny you can get. He could have killed you, and was hoping you wouldn't get his number. John

car drivers = brain in off mode once they get in thier little cocoon, i drive 44 ton wagons, and they cant wait the few seconds it takes for me to get round islands, or exit junctions, so now when they try a stupid move, or try come up the inside, i let em carry on, then its " oops how did that happen" they just aint got a clue about anything, or any1 on the road, they just seem to be getting worse, had a women the other day try to force me off the road while i was on my trike, indicating right, then turning left, they seem think that they can do what they like, and they are the only 1s on the road  hope ya get ya bike sorted, and get some come back

Erm... sorry you had this accident... and hope you sort it out. But I am a car driver and pillian bint... so never ridden two or three wheels, no I lie, I rode a 125 dirt bike once of a mates and as fell off..anyhow.. sorry it was a car driver that hit you on this occassion, but can we get this in perspective not all accidents are caused by car drivers, bikes, lorry drivers... they are all different.
The accident where I was rear-ended was by a 4x4 but I would blame all 4x4 drivers. The amount of times I am cut up by young lads on bikes at round abouts, shooting down middle of the cars and zigzagging among the cars causing mahem...but it is young lads on 125's mucking about so I don't say all bike riders, or all young lads on or lasses sorry on 125's that do it.
I am very bike aware on the road, I am everything aware on the road, seeing as I spend all my time on the road around Dorset I have to be.

Yeah I drive a car as well, and because I ride a bike I try to be carefull, however I am an old bugger, maybe I shouldn't be on the road, and if the trains were still running, and were still cheap, maybe I wouldn't be. I've still got my maximum no claim bonus on bike and car, but the odds are against me not having an accident. Three things you can be sure of. I am insured, and I will stop and try to help and admit it if I am in the wrong. We are all due to make mistakes sometime.John

sorry to here about your accident, glad u r ok. i am a car driver but i also ride trikes so i am aware of bikes, a funny thing happened to me a couple of years ago, at stupid o clock one morning a car was over taking and the look on his face when he realised that i was a trike not a bike was classic, i had to swerve a bit into a bus stop, he sucked up most of his seat, ;) . all my lights were on including side markers he was just an inconciderate twat
