I went out for a short 10 mile blast on my new trike last night, What a hoot that was :D
A few minor problems to sort out, like adjusting the clutch and foot brake so that I can reach them properly with my short and not so hairy legs. :D
But at last I am mobile after waiting 2 1/2 years.

Hi Rob,
At the moment it's got bloody great 30inch lorry tyres on it causing it to judder when you start off but I am changing them to day for my 295/50/15's
and that should get rid of that problem. ;)
It would not be a problem making it do wheelies but give me more time on it as I have never ridden one before, only bikes :D

The judder could be the clutch cable, I have had VW aircooled (campers mainly) and if the clutch cable is not fixed down securely it causes judder, a few cable ties or proper fixing brackets somewhere in the middle of the run sorts it.
Glad you are on the road, those pipes look LOUD!

Dracken has taken off the high lorry tyres and wheels that were causing the judder and put on my 295/50/15's, no more judder and much more speed in the lower gears, and will cruise at 30 in third gear now.
Also changed the coil over shocks, adjusted the foot & handbrake, adjusted the clutch, and welded the exhaust.
Thanks again Wyn mate, you a diamond ;)

Dracken did a wheelie on it and ploughed part of his gravel drive up, so yes trikes can wheelie :D

cant argue with that. i've had a couple, and they are FUN!!
if you've had years of riding a bike, remember to pick your feet up when you pull away, can be messy if you don't!!

Ha! Ha! no problem there Rob, when I'm sitting on the trike my feet are way off the ground being vertically challenged as I am :D
