Not the usual place to post such a thing, but the daughter of a biking couple we know has gone missing.
Can we ask all of you to please keep a look out for Natalie (mid teens).
She left her home in Milton Keynes on Thursday morning as normal and her parents have had no contact with her since.
The police believe she is with an 18-year-old lad who is also missing.
If she is seen please contact the police.

don't take this the wrong way but it's good if she's run off with some oik, she will def come home when she realises that life ain't sweet out there, little kids come home when tired/cold/hungry and I suspect the same happens with teen lover runaways
hope she's ok and back home soon
her poor parents :( :(

Although it is horrific for the parents left worrying to death, the fact that she has run off with an oik is far far better than having no idea what/who which kind of pervert she was with. My heart goes out to the parents (I've been there) concerned, trouble is girls never think of the heartache they cause.... just want THEY feel and want... its an age thing.

I know from where I work that most missing teenagers turn up within a few days, but that doesn't make it any better for these parents - I know just how they feel - my girl only went missing for a few hours but they were the longest of my life!

Really good to hear that.... I too hope she'll learn something valuable from this, but being a cynical old cow who brought up two girls..... I doubt it very much, she's got quite a few years to go before she turns into a reasonable human being :D

Is there any reason why she felt the need to run away? I know teenagers think their parents are fossils, who wouldn't understand, but sometimes they don't. Why do females cling to guys that are obviously no good for them and the more they are told, the tighter they cling. A friend of my son's has become pregnant by some pillock, they had planned to get married. She admits she doesn't really love him, but he threatens to kill himself if they split. The parents tell her he is a dick and her friends don't want to know him. Will she leave him, will she feck! Still glad to hear your friends daughter is back safe and sound.
