Just got back from t'pub where we ate and drank ourselves stupid, being lightweights we are so stuffed we had to come home because as you all know the only way to get rid of that bloated feeling is to lie around with no clothes on!
Anyway we got talking about puddings and Mitch says he likes stodgy ones with lots of chocolate in and I will only eat fruit based puddings like lemon meringue and fruit crumble as it helps dissolve the stodge (can't believe I'm writing this!).
Anything with sultanas in is the work of the devil and will not be touched.
*Put the sultanas down and step away from the plate - too late BLAM!!!!!*
So obviously spotted dick is not on. What kind of pudding fiends are you (and no custard it's disgusting - like snot).

Right. I am a tad stoned. But I've just read this thru an' the playback in my head of it is being voiced by the guy who does the really provicial ads that come on BEFORE the 'Bub Ba, Bub Ba, Bub Ba, Ba Ba, Bub Bu Ba' of Pearl & Dean's finest at your local multi-plex/cinema/fleapit (an' a BIG cheer for any fleapits still managin' to survive in this day an' age of globalisation).

That is soooo odd.

Now I hope that even tho you may have tried to voice that thru like I did in my head, I really, really hope ..... that isn't the voice that is the one you use for your inner thoughts for the next hour or so ......

..... told you I was a tad stoned :D

strawberry jelly with carnation milk which you first place the tin with a small hole in the top into a pan of boiling water for 4 minutes, allow to cool and whisk with an electric wisk.

or ram rolypoly with custard

My Nan's sherry trifle! God bless her! If only she was here today!

Every Sunday without fail the family would get down from the table half pissed and giggling without knowing why!

Rice pudding!

No0t that runny disgusting stuff that everyone used to try and get out of eating at scholl, but proper luscious creamy eggy stodgy rice pud as made by ME! The rice pudding expert!

Its really thick at the bottom, and not quite runny at the top, and its great with marmalade - only then you have to have another helping cos its lovely on its own - but then again its great with strawberry jam so thats a third helping........

When the kids were young I used to make a big rice pud and we used to have rice pud for starters, main course, and afters!

But it has to be a really enormous one cos its great cold as well - that's why I've just made a 3 pint one - just for me an Mike! :D

Where's the *rolling around on the floor with a fat tum* icon when you need it?
