What with all these peeps being made redudant. i'ts made me think about these government retraining programmes.

My Hubby got made redundant at Xmas

Because there were less than 40 being made redundant(was only a small firm) the government retraining package didn't apply to them

Go figure!

manufacturing in Beverley is just about dead, but all those (mainly Men) don't need retraining?

Phil was going to pay for his own training until (very luckily) he got another job
