Right my trike has its fuel tank at the back and im gonna need a pump of some kind to get fuel to the carbs. Has anyone done this before to XJ900 carbs. any idea what sort of pressure will overwhelm the floats? i was thinking of getting a low pressure car one and then fitting an adjustable pressure relief valve which returns to the tank. anyone got any better ideas?
did a search but it didnt come up with much.
Thanks
Jules

if the gl1200(goldwing) pump is anything like the gl 1100 pump, its mechanical, driven off the r/h camshaft, not electric, as are quite a few car pumps.

ahh ok, i know my 1100 is mechanical, but, as i said, i didnt know if the 1200 was too, i know the big 6 cyl wings are electric, bu thats more to do with the fuel inj systems i think.
