View Full Version : Trike builders in the South-East??
Having had a trike partially built around a GS1100 engine and frame the problem I have is that the original builder has gone bankrupt and I have an incomplete trike. Are there any trike builders in the SE who could take this on or am I going to have to take it oop north or down the west country?.
Having said that I cannot find any specialist firms that cater for custom builders or trikers in this area at all. Please contact if this is not the case thanxxxxxxxxxx.

What stage of build is it at?
Have you got frame, rear axle and front end sorted?

Also, where in the south east are you, Kent, Sussex or what?
My location is the small sleepy village of Greenhithe (or it was until I moved there!) and the status of the trike is as follows:- The frame has been built using the front end of the original Suzuki frame with 2 A-frame rose-jointed cradles pivoting off the rear of the frame. The axle is a Mk2 Escort 1.6 inverted with the axle breather repositioned to suit, fully rebuilt with new bearings etc.At the moment I am using the original Suzook front end but before I progress I will have to install something more suitable like a front end off a GoldWing or a TDM850 or a FJ1100.As of the present I have a problem with the rear shocks as the frame was originally built around the Suzuki shocks to get it off the ground but I have acquired a pair of Fournales as a replacement but these do not fit the existing mounting points as the mounting lugs are narrower than the Fournales and the quality is a bit suspect as well.So there you have it -now wot????????
