on about the angel, now that was a fookin good rock pub in bedford, shame they knocked it down to build flats, but at least we have still got esquires :D

was there a few weeks back, i always get stuck in the bar talking to danny and missing the disco and escaping at @ 4am, good lad is danny, he's worked there for 15years apparently

Called in last night on route to parts elsewhere.
Pay on the door, @£8, tkts selling but plenty to spare. Suggested getting there before 8 to guarantee entry.
Come on people, lets have a party.....there's enough of us in the area, its summer, its warm, its local, its a good turn.
No excuse for not going really, im up early for work too, (old git that I am) so if I can do it.......
Dint make the gig as I was flaked out after a day on the weed and the Bourboun!........... :rolleyes:

I remember when the hamsters seemed to play at the Horn of plenty every month :D :D
I remember thier first gig in these pastures, at the Buffalo's Club in Baldock........... :D

They're on at The Horn, St.Albans on Thursday (22nd)
Juke, yeah, good gig, tho slim had just had an op on his sinuses so wasnt feeling his best. Played superb tho.

Yup when they first got radio links for the guitar and used to wander outside playing when everyone was chilling on the grass out front in the summer.
Actually where you from Juke... do I know you ?

Naw sorry can't place you ... I remember loads of them from my years in Baldock :) Usually have the handle of Scouse... every one used to know me as the contact for the Gremlin show ... cos Wink was too shy to be it :)

used to go see them at the esplanade on southend seafront, normally supported by the flying zuchinni brothers
one of my first guitars was from the hamsters, bought it from them as it was one of their old spares, very nice westbury customs
had it 2 days and the studio got done over, lost everything cept the naff old drum kit GGRRRR
lost a genuine gibson explorer, but missed the westbury more, strange really but I preffered it :)
