when you decide to overload bike for 100mile trip to rally,
and you decide taking a Gazebo on the bike is a good idea ( no dont know why either, seemed good at time) taking the poles would have been a good idea as well. :p

Hahaha
Don't worry you are not alone and I know it's funny looking back but it ain't so funny at the time. I when to France two years ago with the family. We were staying with friends but took the family tent for the overnight on the way down. It was not until we got there that we realised the kids had taken the poles bag off to load their bikes (Landrover roof rack) and not put them back on again. Not a happy chappie!!!

Hahahahaha. Oh yes, me and Mitch went all the way to West Ireland for a weeks holiday only to realise we had left the tent poles at home. We would have been sleeping with the tent draped over trees or something, however we had bought a mini tent for storing food and stuff in and we had to sleep in that - it was a tight squeeze!!!
How we laughed (two years later, not at the time!) :D

My brother did this at the bulldog one year, and left half his poles at home and had a really wonky tent (the fact he'd borrowed it off a nephew didnt help, complete with kids crayon all over it and mouldy holes in the outer sheet) . He came back on the friday night and everyone camped round us had put all their empty beer cans and rubbish in it because it looked so bad. He got so paranoid he went out sat morning and bought a new tent from one of the stalls... :D
