Im sure I've seen spanners made as torque wrenches
Anybody heard/seen got any info on them or did I dream it?
Perhaps I should patient the idea :D

they do exist, but they arent very common, mostly because they are expensive and you need one for every size.

I would be interested, I've only seen the ones where you needed a complete spanner for each size. Also, where did you get them?

I have a 20 to 150 ft/lbs torque wrench for 1/2 inch sockets if anyone needs to borrow one. But I'm in the valleys No good for 6.9 ft/lbs on clutch plates.

Yes we use open ended toque spanners at work.
I personaly never bother just do stuff up with normal spaners, but thats just me being lazy ;)

we used to use them to do up flexible drives (doughnut types) m8 only to 12 ft pounds. That was a norbar setup with 13mm open end.
