CX trike forward controls

Been a while since I posted so...

CX 500 trike - I want to make forward controls. I've hit a stumbling block with the gear change and am looking for suggestions that dont involve a spiders web of steel cables

Any ideas? Anyone done this before? Any help greatly appreciated

do you have the forward controls fitted and just need to sort out the gear change?
send me a pic if poss, i did one on a cx trike a long time ago which used the original gear lever and a fork assembly at 90 degs to it.

Nothing fitted - still to fabricate all this from scratch - which is why I'm still scratching my head. :(

I've got a goldwing engine in my trike if you want to come and look at the linkage and how the forwards are mounted,I'm sure the CX gear shaft is similar in the way its situated,i.e a right b*st*rd to set up.I'm up by Merthyr if you want to arrange something
