usually its the x rated forum that helps pay for the rest of the forum.
i don't like seeing it there. if i owned this forum i would'nt allow it. but i don't so i guess we like it or lump it..

Ahem The women are semi-naked, but as you have pointed out why is the new section an issue? Because you have to have a password to get into that bit, It has been made an issue by the forum provider. What comes next?

Strikes me that it's us that are turning the 'new' section into an issue.Personally I won't bother with it, it doesn't interest me. I suspect that if, by and large, we all ignore it it will go away because it will be a waste of web space.

but seriously it is a feature thatmay suit some mor ethan others and having the password not only protects Pat and 100% from people shouting that they dont want to see such things, or that kids are watching etc...
and although personally i dont see a real need for it,(although i begged for my password) it is there if i do, time will tell if it is used much or not.

Bloody hell I am suprised at this response...
All we have done is set up an area that is password protected for you to put in those non work friendly images, anything you think too near the knuckle for general chat, stuff you as an ADULT think good, funny etc but wouldnt want your or anyone elses kids to see. Just a fun thing it doesnt have to be porn!!
Its just a way of telling folk who are easily offended that if they go in there ...THEY COULD BE OFFENDED !! ITS ALL DOWN TO CHOICE.
Now you have it, instaed of suddenly coming across a website posted on here as normal and some folk being shocked or pissed off about it, it should now be posted in there instead. That way only folk who want to see mucky stuff will go there!

Not just swearing.... a place where you can post stuff that is mucky if you wish it to be shared, pics that folk may be interested in but could get in deep doo-doo if they opened at work etc that way they know what to expect in there, kids cant stumble on it by accident .....
Just for more adult stuff that is inapropriate for general chat.
Although for all 'worriers' out there, I would draw the line at extreme porn, such as beastiality and such.

Define "mucky" though.One man's (or woman's) art is another's pornography.Had this on another forum,one guy took exception to "risque" avatars which were in fact mostly tasteful and sent to various members by a woman (I got a cartoon fireman in a kilt!Not fair,mumble mumble),and complained.This nearly caused the forum to rip itself apart,with those in favour of censorship and those against coming to verbal fisticuffs,it got really nasty at one point with some serious personal insults coming from both sides.Last thing we want here,although we're all pretty sensible.

I cant really define mucky...... One of the reasons it was set up is to avoid just such a scenario that you described, thats why it is password protected, then no one who hasnt actually requested a password can get in, and if you've asked for a password and go in there and get shocked then its your own bloody fault. If you have no interest in it then just ignore it, it doesnt affect the other areas at all.
I personally dont know what to put in there, or what the tolerance level is its a bit sort of 'suck it and see' pun intended!!
We are adults, and as such if folk want to post adult stuff or recommend adult style websites then thats the place to put it.
Mind you theres nothing in there at the moment I wouldnt let my granny see....

Sorry but i dont want any-thing to do with a site that acts like this.
