Well I’ve just returned from The Iceni MCC's 21st Rally and what a great time I had.
it was held a Pentney lakes near Kings Lynn. I understand that food caterer had let the
club down at the 11th hour so a stand in had to be found and what a sterling job he did
too. It’s not very often that you get a curry or chowmein cooked as you wait. His
prices were good so it came as no surprise that he sold out on both Friday and
Saturday.

Bands on both nights were good, shame that the beer has allowed me to forget any of
their names. I manage to move my feet and arms in a manner that suggested that I
might be dancing. Talking of beer you had to stump up a tenner for the old tokens
before visiting the bar. No money was allowed.

There was plenty of nice bike around the site to hold my attention, pity I forgot to take
my box brownie along to take a few snaps.

No rain and clear skies in November means only one thing .......frost. This made the
fire all the more appealing and became a meeting place of friends both new and old.

Now my little moan......31 cars on site was a little OTT and no toilet paper during
Sunday’s rush hour.

All in all a good weekend. I’ll be sure to go again. :D
