I think you'd upset a lot of people from Wolverhampton if you told them it is a part of Birmingham and vice versa :D

Yoda i have always been proud of brum. the city has suffered a lot of negative press over the years and you can develop a kind of seige mentality. the amount of rebuild that has taken place over the last 10 years or so have transfomed the place.

i must admit that the streets of brum remind me of paris (well i aint actually been to paris but the picture my tiny brain sums up what it would be like)

the new bullring is niceas is the rest of the city centre and broad street
and as for the canals..do you remember what them rat infested things used to be like, now we have a canal bus

the only place i do not like is millenium point and selfridges (mainly because they have to be two of the most wheelchair unfriendly places on this planet)
and considering both are new they leave a lot to be desired

Yoda. I used to work at Chagwyns, the car paint suppliers in Heathfield Road, about 100 yards from the Cross and the Acapulco. Oh the joys of going into the cafe to pick the works breakfast order up and having a knife put to my throat for being white, only to be saved by my mate Justin, a black guy who worked with me. And being offered drugs for the first time while standing in the bus stop waiting to go home. Mustn't forget the riots in Lozells. The electrical goods were being offered around very cheaply after that.
