That sort of twat deserves to wrap himself round a tree, unfortunately they tend to cause more accident than end up in them

I know. I mean being a biker is all about being respectable and looking righteous, being calm and sedate and reserved. God forbid you should have fun, wear something that aint black or the likes. Thats just plain wrong and you should pay the ultimate price.
What do i know anyway, i dont ride a real bike as it cant be customised. I know because ive been told by the righteous people.
Probably best if i just sit here in awe at the fun some people must have sticking to speed limits, sitting in traffic so on so forth. I may learn to be a real biker one day

Jesus CHRIST, i actually agree with Rob.
So you who want him dead all ride like the Green cross Code man on two wheels do ya.
Well i watched that clip thinking, yeees, go ON my son.
You wanna try rippin' the lanes up on the M1 and not giving a ***** its fanfkintastic.
Never reached those lofty speeds obviously, but have followed that mad line many a time on a big, low, loud, harley with silly apehangers.
And it feels GOOD.
So anyone who buys their last ride then, if they over the speed limit or enjoying themselves, its their own silly fault, tuff shyte.
Why buy XJR1300s or GSXR1100s then, is it to quote the figures in the pub?

You mean there's a SPEED limit.......thought I was exempt......damn and blast....( past all the boxes..ahem) :p
All very clever but i reckon he needs to get his speedo sorted out.
Fair play to the man!..............
Probably find that was on an autobhaun in Germany.
Boy, would I have loved to have been on the back of him......or her!
Who says a woman couldn't ride like that.......
Griff experienced a ride like that on the back of our mate Jamie on a toll road in Spain some years ago. I had left a bag with the passports in, at a bar some 50 miles back down the road, and the ferry was due to leave in an hour! The bike was a 1200 Bandit, tuned to the nuts...........
Griff came back with a smile on his face ear to fcuking ear!
Sorry, but whats the point of buying and insuring a bike capable of doing 170mph+ if ya gonna keep to the speed limit!......
This guy was driving fast, but not really unsafe. Ok, so the middle take by the bus was a bit larey, but he was on a ride of a lifetime.....lucky bastard!!!
Ride and enjoy! Thats my motto!............ :D
GreatBritishRob

Only 2 issues ive got with the bike. The speedo is kmh obviously and it must be running off the back wheel because it still goes up when he's pulling a wheelie. I suppose it could run off the gearbox.
Good crack though apart from when he bottles it with the bus and caravans. He would have been better off gunning it.
It bought back a few good memories like being chased for 7 miles by a copper at 150 plus and he let us off when we stopped for a fag. :D
Hey Taff, if yer offering mate i'd love to take a big chop out for a blast and see what they can do :D
Taff offering you a go on his chop..............

170+ mph? I don't think so. As for the style of riding, come on it isn't that bad. You telling me you haven't had a mad 5 minutes like that? I have many times and when that urge goes I'll get a friggin camper van.
It certainly isn't as dangerous as some are saying on here, and NO WAY does he deserve to be wrapped around a tree. That's a bike thief, not bike rider.
so the middle take by the bus was a bit larey, but he was on a ride of a lifetime.....lucky bastard!!!
Had some of that, riding with about 100 club members down the M5, looning about, got to Bristol, one of The Chaps said, i weren't gonna let you do me, till you steamed between two arctics and yer shoulder tassels was hitting both at each side of you as you went up the middle.
Irresponsible?
Hell yeah.

you have called the m6 or m62 when they are not like carparks, its the jail term that makes it less fun when it goes wrong and mr plod take a dim view of your antics.
I have to agree with taff though why buy a big beast of a bike if now and again your not going to see what it will do....
i personally dont have a problem with radical high speed its the tossers over taking on blind summits over double white lines, blind bends etc, give us all a bad name....and they dont all ride sports bikes either.

No, it is to gain 9 points in 3 months, 6 for reckless riding and 3 for speeding, the other times I didn't get caught.
I really bought the xjr to make it easy for a pillion and some reliability then found out how much fun it was - different to the hardtails but as much fun in it's own way
Just 'cos you ride like a nancy boy, Sheeps!
I thought the bloke was a bit of a gurl actually - only 299 and he was hitting the limiter in top? That's only 186mph ... feckin' poofter!
Nice 140mph wheelies though. :)

But the man was riding like a Twat. Maybe my comments were a little unfair, but it is people like that that tend to cause accidents & rarely get involved in them. How many people that he pulled in front of slammed their breaks on & got rearended as a consequense? Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with a bit of speed (the points on my licence prove this), but he was riding without any thought as to the consequenses to those around him.
The title of the clip says it all.

If you actually watch these really, really fast clips then you'll see that, like the Ghost Rider films, there's generally fuck all traffic about (there definitely is this one) so the chances of people getting rear-ended because of his behaviour are pretty remote. Most of the car drivers in that clip won't even have seen him because he was going too fast for them to clock him - it's on a motorway, remember, so the risks are greatly reduced in comparison with doing it in a built-up area.
Stop bleating like a road safety nazi, the only person who's going to listen to you and get stressed about it is you and you don't need that kind of stress, y'know? :)

Because, as you rightly point out.
It's rare that a biker buys it thru speed alone.
Occasionally speed and inexperience, but i've only ever known that teach 'em a lesson, not kill 'em.
Invariably it's thru the careless actions of some fucker else.
I spent yesterday in Peterborough, along with a couple hundred more bikers, putting a mate in the ground, because of some moronic BITCH careless car driver.

Don't worry mate As it's pointed out and I agree! Everyone to there own way of life...I just worry about my bro, coss he's so geared up on the speed and how fast he can get to places...He's got a young family...At the end of the day if he comes across one of these pull out merchants which ends up in his wipe out...It's his kids that are left behind hurting and without their much loved dad...I don't just potter around on my trike..I do like speed and freedom of the bike/trike..When I was able to ride solo I've had more than my share of off's and mutton heads smashing into me..

Lets see. When did i sell my Ninja?
2002, thats when. Ive still got my bright orange race leathers and Arai helmet. I also have a Rutter Replica Shoei helmet and a race rep premier MX helmet. I now ride a big trailie with white and black MX boots and i like to ride like a loon. Same as when i had my Ninja or one of the Speed Triples i had or my old Bandit 12 or my old FZR750 or one of the other countless bikes ive had over the years. I wasnt happy unless i'd worn the ends off my footpegs on my bikes and that includes the trailies.
Hahahahahahahaha! Listenng to some of you, i bet if you saw me without knowing it was me you'd think i was scum by the sounds of it.
You sit in judgement of other people for the bikes they ride yet you hate people who do the same thing.
Im still the same person whether i was on one of my sports bikes in dayglo leathers or on a trailie or a streetfighter so a scumbag power ranger i must have been and as such must still be. Same goes for a lot of my mates to. Best get out and tell em that to be a real biker they cant have fun, must ride with a solemn face and black leathers because otherwise they run the risk of having people wishing they fell off and hurt themselves.
I cant believe some of the pissy, nasty little attitudes some people have because they dont like a certain style of bike or leathers.
Fuckin unbelievable.

And it's got about the same street cred.

Vespa.
That's Italian for Wasp isn't it?
I rather think that actually riding a Wasp would have slightly more street cred than an italian hair dryer. Especially one of these basterds...

Jeezus KEERIST!Did a Rocker in black leather scare you in yer pram or something? It's like dropping a bit meat in a tank of piranhas, some one mentions they don't like "power rangers" or sports bikes and you trot out the same old crap.Everyone's allowed an opinion, after all we get yours often enough. If you don't like the attitudes here why do you stay?

Bikers can sometimes seem more segregated between themselves than the imaginary straights/bikers rift, which truthfully went away in the 80s when folk stopped wearing 'originals' and greasy cack, it really just exists now in the minds of hard done by victims of non-existent biker prejudice.
Long time since i've seen a no bikers sign in a pub, or been asked to leave for looking like one. For bad behaviour, yes, but i see that for what it is, not blind biker prejudice.
The locals in our biker pub, they're a great bunch, lively, drunk, stupid, and friendly.
They come out in their OCC or rock'n'blues t-shirts, or west coast jackets, just look like bikers to me.
Not till one of 'em died, and we all rode to the boneyard, did i ever really have an idea who rode what, don't really get mentioned in the pub, we can talk bout other stuff as well.
There were stunning streetfighters, bland race-reps, home brewed customs, big 80s jap muscles bikes.
Was intrigued and often stunned by who strolled over to what.
Aint started ignoring any of 'em or wished 'em dead cos they turned up on an Exup.
Except the stupid looking twat who thought it a jolly wheeze to wear a dress new years eve, for no apparent reason...
I dont stroll over and chat to every motorcyclist i see in the mway services either, but they pretend they can't see me anyway.

Cant say any fairer than that really.
I bloody hate agreeing with people :D
I ride like a twat when i consider it safe to do so but i never go quick through built up areas those that do are the ones who promote the usual bull**** whinging. If i crash and burn so be it, slightly selfish attitude but life is for living besides i could get hit by an ambulance crossing the road and be wipped out.
