Does anyone know the best way of bypassing this switch - permanently!! as This caused mine to cut out on the way to a rally last year, in the fast lane of the A23.

Plus I'd like to spare Mrs R any unnessecary brown trousers moments!!

Just join the two wires together Mitch, this causes a permanently closed circuit.
I do this all the time to my bikes,as well as the clutch one,it's just a problem waiting to happen on older bikes !!
I could go into stories about how,in the past,I have bought several bikes very cheaply because of this simple problem, but I won't......... :D

Two minute job and your troubles are over mate. :D

lol

Had the same thing with a mate of mine. He'd done everything to get a gix 750 motor fitted to a hacked gs thou frame. Could get it running etc but as soon as it went into gear it cut out. He'd been scratchin his head for a week on it (used to older bikes).

I just told him to dig out the yellow n black, join em together n 'ta da'.....

Amazing :D
