What year is yon bike?
1957 frame, 1980 motor
Think yourself lucky I just got yet another Honda and offered another this afternoon
And why may that be?
Because they're soulless SHYTE, thats why.
On average this old nail is 68/69 vintage.
Anybody with a gem from the land of the rising sun, of this vintage, which looks as good as this Shovel, and would run up against it down the M1, carry on ripping the piss, fair play to ya.
The rest on yuz, keep saving, you might get there...

Absolutely right Taff..
Shovels and old harleys in general have soul in spades...
Anyone that has mainly ridden Japanese bikes, especially 4 cylinder bikes would be in for a heck of a shock the first time they rode it..
Its definately..Rustic :D
But get past that, get used to it and ride the bike as it was intended that it should be ridden and its seduces you.. It might sound a bit soft to some.. but Shovels are lovable..
And in 20 yrs time, there'll still be a crowd of gawpers round it telling each other how unreliable these are...
