Mmmmmmm, they both sound a bit too taxing to me. Think of everything that could go wrong! Lift could get stuck for hours, you could cause a major pile up if you got stop and go mixed up - too much potential for disaster.
How about collecting shopping trolleys from the car park? It would help if you had learning difficulties :D
