Here's one for ya. Got any photo's from your first few rallies. Thought this may be fun.

I'll start the ball rollin' with a couple of mine.

The first is one from my first rally in the January of '82 T'was the Brass Monkey.
It was a bit cold but down the years it couldn't have gotten much worse.

The second is of meself and me 'Bonnie' as it was when I purchased it. This is from the Brass Monkey rally a couple of years later in '84

So lets be seein' a few of yours then ......

Did anyone notice that in the second photo there's not a dome tent in sight. Looks weird don't it ?

agree .. dome tents /aircraft hangers seem the way to go now

any one with a copy of the Kent 1990 video will see my old Xv at the end of it... this is my bonnie, from the kent show year beore, sold it 2 weeks before, and there it was 3 tents away

Hey Sax, didn't they used to have chamber orchestra's as the entertainment in those days too :D

nah all they had were animal skin covered drum type thingies. :)

Sadly lost all my old rally badges before I moved in with Mrs R!! My old cutoff had badges from some long-dead rallies; Troon Smugglers, 3 Sisters was my first (1990) and my fave was the ****house Door (East Durham MCC) - I also used to love the Laughing Lightbulb (Blackpool Roakers)

Oh yeah, there was the Wot No Moon rally in 1990 where I met Grav! :eek:

I would love to get hold of some of the pics one day (Rallies, mainly in Lancashire/Yorkshire and the sexth For Fox Sake 1990-93) if anyone has pics, give me a buzz!

They didn't have bikes when i started ralying
fist rally the Dick Turpin Memorial rally where all horses tethered outside
