Something similar happened to Pugwash on the way to Stormin' last year. He'd just sorted his bike out after the Farmyard flood, when some twat in a truck run it over!!!!
Thankfully, he got paid out enough to sort out a new engine and get the bike done right!

well ive just spoke to insurance. thay dont have my agreed value docs or pictures. again. apart from that no probs. just waiting for solicitor to phone. god knows why i need one of them for. never had one last time and it was sorted in a couple of months. and despite having no claims protection i will lose two years if its not sorted before my insurance ends.

sorry to hear that man, hope it comes ok for you :(
Sorry to hear that.
I presume you are going to claim off 4x4 lady's insurance, and are getting CN to do it for you. (Hence solicitor.)
Recently had some dozy cow back into my car, which is insured by CN.
I claimed off her insurance. (NU Direct.)
First thing I got three quotes for all repairs, and made sure my preferred repairer was cheapest.
Then I claimed from NU, giving them a date that I needed repairs finished by, and stating that I would have to hire a car and charge them if not completed by then. (Told them I was going on holiday!)
Also gave them one week to reply, otherwise I would get CN solicitor to sue for damages, my time, other costs, phone calls, etc.
After four half hour phone calls, and NU 'losing' my paperwork twice, they agreed to all repairs being done at my preferred garage. All completed in four weeks.
Dozy cow is still driving a hire car cuz hers isn't fixed.....after 12 weeks!

There should be a claim for whiplash, broken limbs, loss of use and enjoyment, more broken limbs, excessive whiplash, lashing with a whip, brain death and congenital supidity.
But she doesn't deserve a penny :D
Cheers,
Byrnie.

wheels got a flat spot in the rim. forks are a couple of mil bent. so twisted forks round and bike rides fine. suspension is nice and smooth too. wasnt before.
so that was my day at work.
did some good polishing aswell.

8 months, you lucky, lucky bastard!!!!!!!!! :D
Two fookin' years, 1 month and 3 days to finally get my claim sorted because the dumbarse other side's insurance company wanted to fight the claim because he told them that I just ran into the back of him for no reason (erm... he conveniently forgot about lamping out in front of me then across into the hashed area) ... Their damage only cost them £365
Then, said dumbarse has just cost his company's insurance the best part of two grand (including both sets of costs and two years worth of interest) because he couldn't remember what was on his statement.
Me, I got more than I paid for the bike four years ago (by a couple of hundred quid)
