Up in Sunderland, put on by Tyne Pheonix MCC, anyone going?

When we heard of the Fox n Dale cancellation we decided to give this one a go, from all the reports we have heard of people who went in the past it is a smashing rally!

it was hot n sunny, i didnt get to paddle but excellent weekend.

Absolutely fantastic weekend! The scenery was beautiful, sun out and shining bright most of the time, bands were good and food and beer at reasonable prices.

It was good meeting you Muddi.

A bunch of us ended up with the bandito marks from the sunglasses, REALLY a great weekend for a tenner.

Food was cheap and you got alot of it, good tasting too, beer at good prices and fantastic scenery, the hosts were top notch and a good crowd overall.

Some down points (rather points for improvement) Loos could have been cleaned more often and a bit more organisation in the way of the bike show, but honestly? I will go again

That looks awfy like the site at South Shields where the Smugglers Dog used to be held.......
Ah mebbe not,I just noticed the reflection of a lighthouse.

it is south shields, up along from the grotto, by the lighthouse. different site from previous years but very pretty

Cool!Used to love the Smugglers Dog.Got some very good memories of that rally.
