Is it fair to say most of us are stuck in a decade that time has all but forgotten? Is it just another reason there are very few younger newcomers coming through the ranks when the music we party to is older then they are. Surely there are some excellent new(er) bands that can entertain a wider audience? God I'm SICK to the back teeth of 'Born to be Wild' being played at least 4 or 5 times during a weekend rally. What do you all think.

I've been whinging about this for years - going to a rally is like being stuck in 1984 - no metallica, GnR, Faith No More, nirvana, Iron Maiden - to me, music is the background to the evening - crap music will put me in a crap mood...

there should be a wider spread of music at rallies etc. bikers are, ironically a pretty conservative bunch (small c) on the whole and not very receptive to anything relatively modern (post 1990). it would be good though if a few dj's played some contempory stuff because i, for one listens to more new stuff than old these days. the band at the forum party got it about right. if you was'nt there you really missed a good night.

The band was bloody great! WYSIWYG
The place was cr*p!
Full of too many norms - it felt like a bloody nightclub later on , no atmosphere.
I sat outside passing my cold on to aunty Pat and watching kiddies walk down from the town at kicking out time.
It's a very strange pub indeed - not my cup of tea.

Me and Mitch thought the Motorhead tribute band was fab :) and had a right good time. Neck ached in the morning though, that's the problem with getting older and headbanging!

U need to get ya arse over to our rock nites - infact there not rock nights anymore as most of the music requested & played is 60,70,80's rock n roll, punk, reggee, rock n roll and funnily enough silly songs
