Well win XP finally decided to die today, and a fresh install was in order
for those who know me will know how much abuse an operating system under my control gets and 11months without a reinstall is probably the longest i have had.
so anyway
a Virgin install of XP with sp2 intergrated fully intergrated is now on and working.
so thats me happy (except for having to stay up all night re-loading all my programs..)

i must admit to having some sort of sickness and do prefer to do a full manual install rather than a backup install, not only that most of my software is out of date by the time i am due for a re-install
(says he typeing this on a ZX81  )
