Kawasaki ZX-10R steering damper mounting bolts to be inspected

Kawasaki is writing to owners of the new of ZX-10R models to notify them of the possibility of a fault with the tightening of a steering damper mounting bolt.

All warranty registered owners of affected ZX1000D6F machines are being contacted and advised to visit their local Kawasaki dealer for the steering damper assembly to be checked and for the steering damper bolt to be tightened to the correct torque setting.

“If anyone has a ZX-10R and has not yet received a letter, they can confirm details of affected machines with their local dealer or by contacting the Kawasaki Customer Service Department on 01628 856750”, said KMUK’s Marketing Manager, Martin Lambert.

Blimey did'nt the first batch of triumphs have a similar problem.
Also did'nt the ZX10 have a problem with the wheel casts?
Probably not as bad as it sounds but good to see em recalling and rectifying.
