Wotcha.
There 'was' a museum - it burnt down some time ago. . . . . . or have they finally got around to re-opening it and I missed it ?
Take a nose HERE (http://www.moonshiners.org.uk/museum.htm) for a taste of what it was like before the fire ( large file - broadband recommended )

A nice little snippet in news & gossip about the reopening in the next issue ;)
Just a year after the devastating fire the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhall, Birmingham, is on course to re-open on 1st December 2004, after a £30 million rebuilding and restoration programme. Museum owner, Roy Richards, recently revealed that the official reopening ceremony on 15th January 2005, will be performed by legendary TT racer and Norton rider, Geoff Duke, who originally opened the museum in 1984. Around 400 machines – half of the museum’s collection – were destroyed in the blaze on 16th September 2003, which has been blamed on a discarded cigarette. Over the last year ninety-one bikes have been fully restored and around seventy replaced, and it’s hoped that there will be around 550 bikes on display when the museum first re-opens.

Hello Blue! Where you been hiding then?
Great news to hear that the National Motorcycle Museum will opening soon. It will be worth taking a trip over there at Christmas.
