I think that we should have an accent day where everyone should put their messages in accents..

So that the Welsh boyoing it all over the shop..

Brummies doing what they do best... talking in brummie...

Country bumpk... eerrmm gentlemen oohhh arrr ing it..

I have to face it I have no real accent.. and cannot write it down what I sound like.. Do you know a man on the phone the other day said to me you don't sort like your from Dorset.. I said no It was a recentish move.. 'ah' he said, 'so you're a londoner then by sound of it, sort of posh london though..which bit?' he asked.. 'Oxford' I replied.. 'but my parents are from Uxbridge and have this twangy accent thing.. sort of picked it up'.. sounds nice he said... so I paid my bill and thanked him.. :D

It depends on who I'm talking to, I tend to write english but can read Norn(shetland) as well as speak it when needed. Infact there is a shet;and/english dictionary. For centuries first under the scots then under english and the church our language has been stamped on, they even used to jail people for not speaking english or even scots,It was also made illeagle to give your children a norse name, and the welsh think they got it bad with their language.
