As the forum went tits up just before the party - just like to say many thanks to Pat and Rick for getting it all together. Had a good time , was nice to meet y'all. Would also like to thank Coach for demonstrating his "Lynx Effect" .

I thought that pub was a great little venue and suggest we have another ride out down there , as bands are always on each Saturday night. :)

And like the silly Scot i am, i never took a note of the name or the address of the pub, then the fourm went down, i couldnt remeber where, then i went slightly mad for being such a prat. Didnt even have it in me browser history, no matter there will be others i`m sure.

I had a good time and what a nice bunch of people you all are :D Mrs R, it was no stitch up that you got the 'forum gift' I really had decided to give it to the first person I met when I got there whilst I was riding up.

I'd deffo do it again at the same place, the band was sh1te though....much more entertaining watching Coach pull the birds

Thought the band were pretty good actually - love singing along with all that old stuff.

Saying that , been about on me travels a bit recently and am totally pissed off with listening to the same old ****e again and again.
We must have some of the best new rock flying about at the moment and we keep playing Motorhead , ACDC and the like again and again at rallies.

Give me some Offspring , Greenday , Lost Prophets , Rasmus , Sum 41 , Goldfinger - just for a change pleeeeeease!

Either that , or some good ol' rock n roll

Forgot to add though - the line up at this year's rock and blues looks tip top!

I'm gonna dust off my big hair wig and make up for Twisted Sister and get out my Glam boots for Slade. Cum on Feel the Noize!!! Oh yes!

It was great meeting everyone, twas a shame me and Mitch were sick and had to go to bed early, we shouldn't have come really the state we were in but curiosity overwhelmed us.
Coach - do you mean the Sex God? Maybe I passed out in my tent because of his magnetism, perhaps we weren't sick at all!!!! Now it all becomes clear.
We will have to all meet up again when it is hot, can we? can we? can we????

Fookin'ell, Back in the early nineties, I was always in Blackpool and the surrounding area - my old bike club (Four Aces MCC - Denholme if any of them's out there!) had a sister club in Fleetwood, also I used to be forever going to the Blackpool Roakers' Rallies (Laughing Lightbulb ec.)

Well , I remember Ian , who started up the Fleetwood bunch of Four Aces - he used to be in our club before that , along with a guy called John Hogg - who also shot his bolt to the Four Aces.

When I graciously left our club in the capable hands of Danny ( couldn't put up with all the wan*ers joining it) I was aiming to follow along to the Four Aces , but got pi**ed off with the whole club scene.

Small world innit?

Just a bit! We surely must have met around then!! (hang on your old club, which one were you in?)

Ian - last time I spoke to him (about three years ago now when he came over) – fecked off to Holland leaving his missus and sprogs behind and was last seen in stoned oblivion, trying to sell me his ZL1000 - which for some reason I couldn't be arrised to go all the way to Holland to pick it up.

Yeah heard something about that.
We were all based over the river Wyre , across from Fleetwood - therefore we were Over wyre MCC. Just a little club of nobbers , that turned into a big club of w*ankers rather quickly.
Next time you see Ian , ask if he remembers - Chaz , Danny , Lebby , Strange Andy , TC , Keith and dirty Phil.

Not so sure about the same place, the natives were a touch wild (weren't they coach?) and the beer was a rip-off...

otherwise we'd be well up for it!

OH MY GOD!!
If being referred to as LOVE GOD all week-end at the Reefer Knot Rally wasn't bad enough after the write up in the Mag, i come on the forum to check out what has been going on and find that there is now Pictorial evidence of the girl whom apparently couldn't cope with my Lynx effect!! Thanks Ewok revenge is sweet, hee hee.
You guys should actually be congratulating me for allowing a normal civilian a place to rest her weary butt and thus ensuring that Bikers throughout the country be seen as considerate individuals.
I have explained all this to my wife Dot and she is very proud of me for showing affection and consideration to the lady (Can't remember her name).
As a result of the Forum Members Party i have now decided that wherever i travel in pursuit of the lifestyle we all love so much, that i will be armed with camera and notebook to record my fellow forum friends displaying there affections.
Many thanks to
Pat, Rik(My dog is well behaved!!) Chaz, Danny,
Ewok(Private Investigator/Photographer MI5 specializing in infidelity), and all the other guys i met over the weekend.
P.S Any news of date/venue for the next one

um, would like to help but what does it entail?

a pub with a field? and a band for the pub?

what about costs? and food?, um

am tempted but I have no experience of organising stuff so it would prob all go horribly wrong, and it would have to be in Hampshire

when is it for?

Right! first off let's agree a date?

Sept. 24-26th?

Any weekend in October?

November 5th-7th? Bonfire night I know, but we could have our own Forum fireworks Party, every one bring a sparkler!

Any later and it'll be brass monkeys, if not already!

Secondly:- Venue!

Same place again?

The Three Pidgeon, Little milton Oxon. At least we all know where it is now! Despite running up and down the M40 half a dozen times, before realising that there wasn't a turn-off southbound at J9 (or was it J8?)!!

Also I noticed in the Rally Weekend bit, that there was a pub in Northamptonshire, The Star & Garter at Chelveston. Used by Rushden & District MAG, say free camping and bar, so how about giving The Pub a bell to see if they will help us? Northamtonshire is fairly central. Perhaps Ewok could help here?

And NO! I aint volunteering Pat! Just trying to get everyone to focus! God knows why, seeing as everone is either p*ssed or hungover most weekends!

TaxiDave
03-06-2004, 09:00 AM
Friar you seem to be the perfect person to do the organising but could we afford to come to one of yours and Ewoks do's?

03-06-2004, 09:56 AM
The general concensus when I ran a poll on here was that most folk wanted it moved, although the pub we used was great , it was just a tad too far south for most, also most wanted it just the one night (Sat).
I have been in touch with a pub around Birmingham way but the bloke is on holiday this week, so I'll know more next week, the date Im aiming for is weekend after soggy Moggy (about 26th Sept?) . :D
I'm gonna do another poll to see how many are prepared to come.

TaxiDave
03-06-2004, 10:06 AM
Thats a good weekend for me. Birmingham is good as well, local. I don't want to take on the organising cos I'd rather Pat get the blame if anything goes wrong :D but I can certainly help out because of the locality to me.
