turkey?

has anyone on here been to Turkey? if so wots it like , price of stuff when you get there etc ,places to see etc .
Have just booked up to go to a place called Selcuk , about 8km from Kusadasi.
Have never been to turkey before ,and nor has addjunkie , so I,m looking forward to it . :D

yes ma'm... been to Alanya... marmaris... and kusadasi... I love Turkey.


Where u are is near ephesus.
If you want quiet and unspoilt.. Kusadasi and areas around there.. Fetiye is nice be a little commericalised now.. but not by most standards... There is so much history there ( I am into castles, ampitatheatres and ruins), the weather is always sunny, blue skies, sea is warm, beaches are lovely, food is very very nice.. kebabs, chikcen piri piri, nice unlevened bread.. all very cheap.. beer cheap fags much cheapness... people very friendly.. curious about pale skinned english ladies.. and will invite u to their daugthers wedding...or party or whatever up in the mountains.. and you will have a wail of a time...

Do go to the Dalmatas caves.. so good...troy is ace... pamukale salt lakes .. and Dalian river boat trip... mud baths... markets are ace.. haggle ....

Your money will go far...avoid marmaris, bodrum to stay if you want to sleep at night.. it's very loud...

avoid the mostiquoes... some areas have a bigger problem than others.

never done that meself.. wimp I am.. but the sea is clear and warm... there are sharks.. but don't know where and how far in .... but have not heard of many if any attacks...honest!! :D

scuba is fun, tight rubber suit, rubber face mask ( feel the excitment ), big bottle strapped to ya back , get to wear a big knife ..........and sploosh away you go !!
