New Beemers and K&N's

Would appreciate some advice about fitting K&N style filters to a new'ish BMW R1100R.
The bike runs on fuel injection and I was wondering if putting separate filters on would upset this too much... :confused:
I just love the induction noise and it's a complete nightmare changing the air filter on one of these.

Opening a can of worms, Injection works measuring air temperature in the air box and requires still air plus a air box to do this , I wouldn't bother loads more hassle than is worth.

Remember reading summat about the still air thing in 100% with a fireblade chop.
Ah well.... just have to find an exhaust that makes it sound like a big twin instead of a superdream :cool:
