Scrap heap challenge

Love this program but...

They're not typical scrap heap items are they..
For example:
Monster truck wheels
Gas turbine
Airplane wings

I've never seen these things in taroni's :D

Can anybody else remember untypical scrap thats been found in channel 4s magic heap?

i think they have just dragged the series out for too long. i liked it more a few years back when when the rather fetching looking women who used to wear sort of semi military gear was in it . tidy, very tidy.;) i think my favourite one was when they had to build a bloody big gun, well funny.

Funny that, because she's the present one's older sister - Cathy Rogers, the original one fecked off to the states when Junkyard Wars came out (she was last seen hamming it up in Brighton in some reality series that sank without a trace!)

Yeah cracking program but they seem to be running out of ideas of wot to build. thus coming up with any old crap.
I do like the fact that the right bikers won last night and not the weekend warriors on their H*nda's, hee hee.

Well, for safety/completion reasons, some slightly more esoteric items are 'planted'. And lets face it, it can't be a real scrappers, as 1) most of the motors they find actually work to some extent, which means 2) they have batteries and fuel, usually the first things to get confiscated.

Was absolutely amazed at the jet cars programme though, that one was wicked though.

but yes, I think they are sadly running out of steam... as it were...

Living abroad I don't get to see it very often,have they tried "medieval siege weapons" like stuff ?

A car throwing catapult , a mechanical battering ram,etc,etc,.........

I agree. Do you remember the internationals (coff) three teams anyway. When they had to make planes.

We won it so that was the bestest, :D
