aah, sunday afternoon. i'll be in pub if anyone fancies a swift half, then its a massive lunch (lamb) and siesta. sometimes life does'nt seem so bad after all. :)

thanks for the offer, but 90+ miles is a just a bit too far for just a swift half.

AAhhh dont know.... younguns today..when I were a lad we had to walk 90 miles..through snow, hurricanes and stuff like that, bare footed and dressed in cast off shorts...... carrying a tin mug of cold watter, just to visit sumone that might have had a warm stone we could borrow so we cud drop it in our watter to have an ot drink....bloody sprogs... :rolleyes:

you will all no doubt be delighted to know that lunch was superb. :rolleyes: my post lunch kip was superb as well. don't you just love that warm feeling of contentment? that is of course until you realise another weekend is almost over and its back to the old routine. oh well, it all brings friday.:)

sorry mate, i was'nt taking the mick :o there really is a club called the boring old fartz!. i think they are made up of former 69ers, seem like a good bunch though.
