Hi
Have you considered trying to get your hands on a moto x front end? Nice length, USD and with uprated oil / fork springs should be up to the job(subject to weight of trike of course!). I did know where there were some but t'other half has bagged them for his project. Alternatively - get longer inners for the gix forks? I assume you've gone for the earlier (G/H/J/K) model? ....

if they are early gixxer forks, try giving choprocker a shout,I think he's got some overlength gsx ones which may slide straight in.

As dodgy says i have got a set of gsx 750 forks, whell etc.
There not overlength but they are longer than the gsxr, i think and the wheel is bigger too.
Stantchions are a little pitted though
