i can supply you some of those ridiculously wide bay area beach bars. such as those which are like a large "c" the ones that make you look like you've been crucified. the honda 750-1100 shadows are fitted with them although i've seen wider .but boy are they expensive.
i believe you like matt black yes?
find a set of bars close to the type you like,
cut them, slug them and weld a tube in them.
i'll do them for you if you know what style your after.
more chance of finding them in 1". but no prob i could cut them and insert 2 22mm tubes were they pass through those fork risers. if they are meant for that bike

Try GLF engineering - I think they advertise in 100% (and / or BSH) ... stockists of all major after market suppliers and pretty helpful. Local to Spalding, Lincolnshire but do a lot of mail order.

On the DR the widest part is 150 cms from the ground, so it passes over the top o' most things.
The old A10 is a lot lower and seems to pass under things !!!!
Maybe I ought t' be a bit more conser....(I can't bring mesel' t' write that word  ) considering this is a big bike already, hmmmmmm .....

Thanks for the offer dracken1 .
I'm sort of throwing ideas around at the moment, and cutting and welding is not a problem,I have always done it that way before. As for things being expensive, tell me about it :( ,I have to import nearly everything !!
I supose I'm just looking for ideas,it'll probably end up with modified t-bars 'cause I know where there's a set rusting in peace !!
Like matt black ? Me ? Has somebody been telling tales ?
Thanks to everyone who replied, and gave me some leads to chase up.
(puts on columbo style coat and goes on mission )

Buy a length of 7/8 stainless tube and find a mate with (or hire) a pipe bender??????
On second thoughts, buy several lengths of tube, cos you are always going to fucg up at least one bend, I always do.

This is something else that I used to do, in the UK .
But helas, this is frogland and 7/8 tube is not metric enough fer these feckers :( . The closest I've found is 21mm,which is OK if you want t' do a botched job,but I'd like a bit of serious with me 120 odd ponies

Didn't read your location, so didn't realise you were in Frogland. Is it worth making a pattern up from cheapie plumbers pipe and finding somebody over the water to make one up with proper tube. Postage should be minimal, but might be a bu66er to wrap. When buying 'off the shelf' it is always going to be more expensive and you'll never get quite what you want.

Verily this is something I am toying with.I have already made several different forms out of hosepipe.Prices vary a lot but I suppose it costs a lot of money to keep shelves. :D :D
