Emails... dontcha just love'em?

Got a couple of days off after Cornwall to recover - and look for a new job as the paper's getting on my tits. I've just realised I've had to change my email address on my CV.

I had to change my ISP before going away as Demon was causing loads of grief and lo and behold, I've lost all my flamin' emails and address book!!!! :mad: (the funny thing was I did back it up, but the backup got overwritten somehow)

So if anyone that knows me (that means you Grav:D) :D could send me an email to me here (mitch@witchesabroad.plus.com) I can make sure it's all going well and rebuild my address book!

I had a load of "failed to deliver"! Looks like someone has hijacked my email address. How have they done this and how do I get rid of it? Is this another sort of virus?

Check your sent items... if someone's "hacked your box" then they usually won't be bothered to delete them.

if not, don't ever, ever, put your email in a guest book, as lot's of nice Nigerians will want to contact you, and the sell on your email addy as part of a big list to various "marketing" companies...

i know, I deliberatly do this, and wind the Nigerians up... from a nice, Disposable email address.

If you haven't been hacked, check with your ISP they havent changed servers or protocols. If they do that,you'll need to set Outlook Express/thunderbord/Whatever accordingly.
