Ever had one of those drinks that takes the lining of your mouth out? I've put weaker battery acid in me bike! Who ever said that the french make the best wine in the world must've been er french! The wine's ****! Rioja or zinfandel it aint!

I hate red wine! It sits in my stomach like an alien, gives me chronic indigestion all night then bursts forth like a raging beast in the morning as a mighty offering to the porcelain God! I think I must be allergic to it or sommat
White wine is so much kinder.

I'm quite partial to getting my mouth round a "pink" one now and again....But I was "reefering" to red leb, a rather interesting alternative smoking mixture....lol

a good red can be williams grove, its very cheep and not as fruity as a merlot or zinfandel but is very smooth and easy to drink.
trouble with the french stuff is there is no continuity.
the quality goes by where it was made, not the batch itself.
bulgarian is good now, so is chillian and most new world wines.

A chilian Cabernet is the best one.
Its got the most anti oxidants in too.
if your having ya mouth stung by **** wine best to put it in a shallow wide dish and stick it in the freezer. the alcohol wont freeze but the rest will.
pour it into a bottle and use as a mixer.

That's it I'm only ever drinking organic wine in future! me and Mitch drank a bottle of 'turning leaf' white wine last night and I couldn't understand why I was so pissed. Woke up with a raging headache this morning and had ferocious migraine all day and finally puked up this evening - sorry to be so graphic - but it floated on top of the water in the bog in pools just like feckin' petrol would!!!!!
What in the name of God do they put in the stuff?? bastards!

im suprised at that,
turning leaf is a californian isnt it?
its usually really good, bit like any of the ernist & julio gallo wines.
ive talked to quiet a few people who say that they dont get headaches with Organic wine. could be all the chemicals.
mind you... i dont like reds partly because of the animal additives they use in the proccess.
Any of the Bonterra wines are good and all organic, just a bit pricey.
the anti-oxident issue is a bit of a red herring really. any health benifit is pretty much subtracted by the alcohol.
better off just eating red veg & fruit if youre after the health side of things to be honest.
your liver will thank you one day.
