I'm just sitting here thinking about work and getting pissed off...(as usual)
I make a good living driving taxi's but I still think about what else I could do If I had the chance
If you had the qualifications/technical knowhow/and ability to succede, What would you do for a living ??
I think I'd like to fly airoplanes but unfortunaly my eyesight's not good enough
What would YOU do ??

I've done my extreme stuff, and am doing something now I have wanted (though didn't really know I did) Put down roots and have a home.
If I could find a decent facilities engineer job now, It would put the topping on a good life.

Ask me in a couple weeks.
I have an interview this weekend for my dream job, and if I get to the second interview it will be the weekend of the Celts  , so hopefully I'll soon be able to say that I am doing what I want to do! :D

I'd like to own my own deep sea charter boat, and spend the rest of my days fishing with like minded fisherman, would'nt care if I made a profit just as long as it kept the mortgage paid, family fed and the boat on the water. :D
anyone wanna buy a house, car, wife etc..........
anyone got a fishing boat for sale........ :D
I have always wanted to be a chef and several years ago i realised my dream when i secured the chefs job at the palace hotel in douglas lo and behold two weeks later i found out i had developed a very bad allergy to fish so that was that. Now i make Pastry for a well known brand of pies not exactly a dream job but it pays the bills.
I'd be a fighter pilot - but I'd have to change sex too

Just a thought....

i could imagine myself being a male escort. of course you pay me for the dinner and my sparkling repartee, anything else would have to be negotiated........and i don't come cheap ;)
photographer, reportgage style stuff. Not ness. warzones but the humane aspects interest me . Poverty , class divisions etc.
wish I'd realised when i was younger that you don't have to work in an office.

There's plenty of work in Northumberland for 'tree fellers'. Mate o mine worked up there and then landed a very cushy contract in Sweden doing the same.....lodgings included.....then met a very fit Swedish bird. He's a very happy little 'feller' ;) ;)
I would open a pizzeria/italian deli and import olive oil and other yummy things.

If I had a steady hand, I'd go back resit my art stuff... and design stuff for bikes... I love seeing decent custom paint jobs that go with the character of the bike/trike and it's owner, they tell a story and would love to do that.
How about physio for the NZ All Blacks rugby team....
or
Towel wench for the All Blacks shower room....
or
Antonio Banderas' nob doctor (I've got warm hands :D )

Egyptology
It is my forte but the nicest thing is, there is a new generation of guides in Egypt and I don't have to put up with them saying;
"And here this says that"
and me saying
"No it doesn't, it says that"
The new generation of guides are up to it.
Quite right too!
Given a lottery win I would lose myself in Academia......

Well I went on to do my dream job from when I were a lad pretty much. Then decided I wasn't really cut out for it (neither dedicated enough or talented enough). Still do it but also have a 5 acre smallholding in Scotland where we are planning on getting into permaculture and ultimately not working for anyone but ourselves. Witch is starting to make her own jewellry wheich is what she has wanted to do for ages!!!
