On Wednesday there will be a Solar eclipse at 08:10am, supposedly lastiung for 3 minutes. As I am on the line of the shadow I was wondering what is the best way to photograph this event.
Any photographers out there with suggestions?

Assuming 35mm/SLR/Other Viewfinder type thing, then a Circular Polarising filter over the lens, possibly add some ND4 filters if it's still to bright, to cut out some of the glare, while you are lining it up on a tripod (squint when doing it, and it's still risky). get it all lined up, then use the Self Timer to pop shots off, so you don't have to look into the viewfinder...

If you're using a digital, then feel free to use the screen (NOT the viewfinder, unless it's an magnified TFT type)

post em on here, let's see what they come out like

If you really must look at the sun use a pair of welding goggles or welding mask!
