What's it like round your way?
I have a pet hate of a certain road. Just at the top of Filton Hill in Bristol the dual carriageway has been the worst bit of road I have had to ride over for the last five or ten years. The potholes are so deep you sometimes see grappling hooks fly up over the edge.

Well, that's all changed now. This week they re did the surface and made me think I could go over it at more that 12 mph. wrong. They may have re-surfaced but it's still a bumpy bit of poo of a road. We could learn a lot from the French, and not just how to use garlic.

Don't our road repair teams use the roads themselves?

Gripe over, crawling back into my cubby hole.

We have a well ****e road here, it's the road from Alfriston to Seaford. It suddenly goes up the downs in a massively steep incline and round a sharp corner as well, if you are not in second gear when you hit it you come off your bike.
To add insult to injury it is a potholed ridged nightmare just at that point so even if you are in second you're likely to come off - I hate it with a passion, so does Mitch.
I think the Hells Angels should use it for one of their initiation tests. It is definitely a test of manhood.

Northampton, as well as being the home of the speed camera, is home to the worse roads in Britain. Ridged, overbanded, potholed and ****e, every single one of them. GRRRRRRRRRRRR and council tax going through the roof once again.
