The last couple of years I've been to Wales a good many times. I love the valleys, the area around Builth is fantastic an' when I went to Anglesey last year I had marvellous ridin'. I think the place is bloody great an' I ain't met a Welshman I don't like.

well here's me thinking that we would get all sorts of abuse and funny bits!.. and everyones gone all fluffy...AWWWWW>>> theres nice isn't it?

Think of a nice Welsh accent....

Whos coat is that jacket?

See those three houses over there.. mines the one in the middle...

Come home to a real fire.. Buy a holiday home in Wales..

Whats a Welsh bi-sexual.. someone whos got a sheep under one arm and a goat under the other..

your turn!! :D

Yep agreed there Dougie..

Lived there for 12 years, and in the summer was bloody awful...

We lived on the main road to Rhyl / Prestatyn, in Holywell on the A55 and used to think we should have stuck a sign up that read. North Wales Full. Closed until further notice.

Lovely part of the world tho

i've always found the welsh people to be warm and friendly at least to people who don't treat them like imberciles. they are so nice.

oh and the anthem is
Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,

Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;

Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,

Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

chorus

Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.

Tra mor yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,

O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,

Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn i'm golwg sydd hardd;

Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si

Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad tan ei droed,

Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,

Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad.

Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

and in english

The land of my fathers, the land of my choice,

The land in which poets and minstrels rejoice;

The land whose stern warriors were true to the core,

While bleeding for freedom of yore.

Chorus:

Wales! Wales! fav'rite land of Wales!

While sea her wall, may naught befall

To mar the old language of Wales.

Old mountainous Cambria, the Eden of bards,

Each hill and each valley excite my regards;

To the ears of her patriots how charming still seems

The music that flows in her streams.

My country tho' crushed by a hostile array,

The language of Cambria lives on to this day;

The muse has eluded the traitors' foul knives,

The harp of my country survives.
