Well, last night I was back in the studio to do a little more work on the new album. My mate Nige came along to play some whistle on 'The Spirit Of Jack' an' anutha good friend Rick Bourne who plays drum with the Old Basing British Legion Band came along an' put the drums (we recorded him playin' the same part four times so as to get a good full sound) down on 'For those Lest We Forget'.
We've put the cannon at the end of the track an' I think once we have the final mix that it's gonna sound awesome. Don't think my neighbors are over happy at the mo' 'cos they've also been listenin' to it at full volume. Had the windows rattlin' when the cannon went off :D
Damon, who's doin' the recordin' for me at his studio is gonna put drums an' some anvil type percussion on 'Retribution Song' next week an' I may put some bass on one or two tracks. Still lookin' to be on target for mid/late April.
I'll be gettin' the track listin' an' liner notes to Pagan Flame soon(ish), honest I will, once we start mixin' down.
