Hurricane Karrol hit us up here last night and until you have ridden in a force 11/12 you have not lived. If you into extereme sports I highly recommend it. It makes you feel more alive than anything else.....mind you it also puts you on first name terms with your maker!

dont envy you one bit was bad enough coming over the cotswolds in that gale at the end of oct 2002.Had serious thoughts of pulling up at the nearest pub and staying overnight.

Wotcha.

Last time I ventured that way, Simmer Dim rally in 1987, we hit storm force ten - now that was fun ( for small values of 'fun' ).

It's a lot more fun than being on the ferry in a gale. What goes down must come up.
