Me n Shep will be doing the egg run.

Probably not camping on the Friday & Saturday though as it would mean putting the dog in kennels for two days and it gets a bit expensive.

Last year we met up at the Plough - did the egg run - back to plough for a few hours then headed home.

Caldarium MCC's 6th annual Easter Egg Run has a little green advertisement on the "100% Biker" 2006 calendar. It's on Saturday 1st April, starting and finishing at the Plough Inn, Arncott, Oxon OX25 1NY. Please be at the Plough ready to ride at 12 noon.
Afterwards back at the Plough we'll hold silly games and a charity raffle. There's free camping at the Plough on both Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April. Live music will be by Loveless on Friday evening and by Subway and Adrenalin on Saturday evening.
The Easter Egg Run takes gifts to centres in Bicester and Oxford that care for children with learning disabilities or terminal illnesses. Please bring Easter eggs, safety-marked new cuddly toys, books in good condition for under-5's, video's or DVD's for under-5's, etc.
Since we were founded in 2000 Caldarium MCC has delivered 8,700 Easter eggs, 4,000 cuddly toys and £16,500 for children with special needs in Oxfordshire. We are a club of just 30 or so bikers but you and we together have helped many children and their hard-working carers.
This event attracts 100+ bikes on the run and a crowd of 150+ people in the Plough on Saturday evening. COME PREPARED TO PARTY!

Forest Fred, you (and your hat!) will be sadly missed by everyone. :( Please accept best wishes from all your mates in Caldarium MCC.
Anyone navigating to Arncott electronically, please note that I carelessly copied a non-existent postcode for the Plough Inn. :( If you were to plan your route to Arncott electronically, an online map & directions service would either (a) not recognise it or (b) send you to a parallel universe from which there may be no route back! I have now corrected it in my original posting to OX25 1NY.

Jonny can end up in the parallel universe no matter how good the directions are.

See you there, Rev. :)

I see that both Jimmymoonlite and Spike had already posted details of Caldarium's Egg Run in other threads on this Forum! I've now put the event on the Forum's Calendar. I hope that this saves any more multiplication of the same message. More to the point, Ido come and party with us! Bardwell School, Helen House Hospice, Hernes House and St Nicholas House will appreciate every gift you can make.
